Thanks everyone! "Catch" us in Creston!

Thanks to
everyone who came out and/or sent good wishes and/or got lost trying to
be supportive last night for the premiere of Sweet Sorrow Productions
and Catch. I am constantly in awe of our amazing arts community and
their generosity. It was wonderful to see faces I hadn't seen in a
while and meet new friends as well. Thank you all for helping this
production team on its journey to Creston next week. But please don't
wish us any more broken legs! Chris' mom, Karen Cresswell, our ballroom
dance instructor, and her broken foot were enough!

Friends in Need Food BankPower. Greed. Love. Emerald Pig Theatrical Society’s Bard on the Bandstand production of William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet is a classic tale of romance and tragedy that’s been updated with a contemporary local theme that gives a new slant to this ageless story.

Mainstage 2009 results!

The Thespian

Mainstage 2009 was a grand success! Not only did we bring one of the finest theatre events in the province to Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows for 9 days, we also managed to Go Green with Sharon and Kathleen! We kept the carbon footprint small by Reducing (less paper, no bottled water, encouraging carpooling and use of shuttles for transportation, promoting locally sourced food and local shopping), Reusing (real glassware, event water bottles, encouraging the use of tap water) and Recycling (partnered with the Ridge Meadows Recycling Society, recycled materials used as much as possible such as paper, Aspenware cutlery).
