Fraser Valley Zone Festival!

"Awards become corroded, friends gather no dust.” - Jesse Owens

The Fraser Valley Zone festival has been tremendous so far! A great week of theatre education and the Langley Player are FABULOUS hosts! The theme of the week is Return to the 60's for Langley's 40th anniversary, which is perfect because so far the theme of the shows has been Love, Love, Love! Last night’s performance of Brooklyn Boy was brilliant with an amazing set design that Jayson would have drooled all over!

Looking forward to seeing tonight's show from Bootstrap Theatre from Chilliwack: No More Medea. If you haven't got tickets yet, there are still some available at the door. Call the Langley box office for a reservation: 604-534-7469 - All TBC members are welcome to come early (5:15 til 7:00) and observe the adjudication of the previous night's performance. Barb Wheeldon has been conducting some FABULOUS on-your-feet workshops with each group!

Call me on my cell – 604-785-1405 if you want to car pool with me from Maple Ridge at about 3:30 or 4pm. We can also arrange a pick-up on the Langley side of the ferry if you can’t come til 7pm. Show starts at 8pm.

I’ll keep everyone informed as to progress re the festival, awards on Saturday and what our next step will be - Mainstage–wise....

Cheers!
Sharon
