December 8 and 9 from 1-4 pm

at The Maple Ridge Leisure Centre (preschool room)

Auditions are on a first-come, first-seen basis between 1 and 4 pm. You will not need to stay for the entire afternoon, but you may be asked to attend a call-back (TBA). You may prepare a short monologue of your choice, a song or demonstrate your sword skills (an asset, but not required; safe and choreographed stage fighting instruction will be provided - see preliminary rehearsal schdule below).

Cold read selections from the play will be provided.

All are welcome to audition, including all ages, ethnicities and abilities. Emerald Pig is an inclusive, non-profit, community theatre troupe. If selected for the cast, you will be required to become a member of Emerald Pig ($10 annual membership). This is a nonEquity production.

Stage fighting workshops will be included in the rehearsal schedule on a few Saturdays. Full cast rehearsals are Sundays from 1-4 (aprox). Specific scene work will be scheduled on weeknight evenings (mostly Mondays and Thursdays), depending on actors involved. Additional rehearsals for fight choreography and dance may be added as needed.
