Emerald Pig is the Best in BC

Theatre BC's Mainstage Gala Gala Awards Night is over and Emerald Pig's production of Trying by Joanna McCllend Glass was honored as the Best Production! According to adjudicator Dean Paul Gibson, Trying was the most outstanding production in every way. And then he repeated 'in every way." John Stuart and Emily Doreen Wilson were the king and queen of the ball, garnering Best Actor and Best Actress accolades. John received a standing ovation as he made his way to the podium to accept his award, his first Thespian award in his acting career.

Emerald Pig needs a home.

I've sold my house! Great - now what???? So many possibilities and exciting adventures ahead, but what about Emerald Pig? My entire garage is chock-a-block full of costumes, props and Emerald Pig paraphernalia!  The need for a space of our own has reached a critical mass! I know I've said this before, but there's nothing like a deadline to motivate you to get things done!

President's Message: Our 11th season: 2013

Welcome to our new season; our 11th season. We took a bit of a hiatus this fall and it felt good to have a bit of a break.

A Little Inspiration - Let's find a theatre!

So our friend, Jeffrey Love (webmaster extraordinaire), just sent me the following note and I think it is worth sharing! a) because I LOVE Stuart McLean and b) because we are desparately in need of moving forward and capturing the city fathers (and mothers) attention regarding the need for a small, intimate and truly "community" theatre.
